Cleanline pneumatic cylinders manufactured to ISO 15552 standards; they meet European specifications which standardise the overall cylinder dimensions to achieve interchangeability amongst other manufacturers.
The cylinder body is designed so that the build-up of contaminants to the outside profile of the cylinder is minimal. The outer profile is a flat surface, as such referred to as ‘Clean Profile Cylinders’. Older cylinder designs, often profiled with uneven surfaces which lead to the build-up of unsightly debris which over time can ultimately cause deterioration of the device.
Adjustable cushioning, supplied as standard with each cylinder. Shock and vibration can occur when fast-moving piston rods reach the end of a stroke, the force of impact can often damage the end caps, seals and coupled equipment. Adjustable cushioning slows the piston rod down before it reaches its end caps in either direction; this reduces impact and shock and typically extends the life expectancy of the cylinder.
Cleanline pneumatic cylinders range from 32mm to 100mm bore; they are double acting only, with magnetic pistons. Other options include stainless steel piston rods, ATEX certification or Viton seals for higher temperature use of up to +150°C.
Within the Cleanline cylinder range, there are options for other cylinder designs, these include, through-rod, back-to-back, tandem, two-stroke tandem and multi-positioning cylinders.
