Miniature pneumatic timers, an adjustable timing device typically used to delay a pneumatic signal to other valves or devices within pneumatic systems. Upon application of air to the timer, timing commences, air passes from the input port to the output port on timeout.
By using two pneumatic timers, it is possible to create repeat timing system where a repetitive pneumatic output signal is required, for example, regular filter cleaning, purging, charging, debris build-up, mixing, repetitive dosing, spraying, aeration of water, stagnation and vibration applications.
Setting the pneumatic timer is easy, achieved by adjusting the front rotary knob to the desired set-point; there are two vertical scales, one indicates the set time, the other the time remaining in the cycle.
Panel mount the pneumatic timer using the plastic clip provided. Connection to the pneumatic timer is via two M5 ports sited to the rear of the device. Choose from four pneumatic time ranges up to 300 seconds. Impulse Automation can supply accessories including din-rail mounts and front covers to achieve a higher IP rating.
